From the Attic

I was rooting around in the attic this week.  A trip down memory lane......opening boxes long ago packed.

Here is one of my favorite finds.  My "Fishbowl" wallhanging circa 1982. That was the year Amanda was born.

In those days I was quilting, making appliqued and handpainted wallhangings......doing freelance design for Better Homes and Gardens......selling to small gift shops.......and then to Macys!

As motherhood approached I started making baby quilts......and a line of baby wallhangings with velcro detachable figures!  The "Fishbowl" was my favorite.......I hung it over the changing table.....it was a great source of entertainment for baby Amanda! 

 

Such fond memories!
